Regional Technical Centres is one of the major features in the new reform plan of the MFA concerning youth development. One training centre is comprised of 50 selected trainees of the Under 15 & Under 17 categories coming from three different regions, after a series of talent screening sessions. Training sessions are based on an annual development training program and are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Four centre have been set up, i.e. East, West, North and South.

The main objective of this structure is to give quality, regular and high level training to a greater number of talented trainees country wide. The short term objective is to provide well trained players to the U15 and U17 regional selections and also to the respective national teams.
